The Artemide Group is a lamping manufacturer and distributor, founded in Italy in 1959. Their Hong Kong office provides both retail and distribution of Italian lighting and has been present in Hong Kong for many years.

The initial partnership was established back in July 2005 when their Hong Kong office urgently needs someone who is versatile and experienced in the IT field- especially with the Windows-based Network Infrastructure- to fix their distorted Server System. From the words of mouth, they contacted the Media World and started the beginning of the fruitful partnership.

Within a few months time, the MW has quickly resolved all of the Artemeide’s outstanding IT issues using *MW Competitive Analysis Methodology (An In-house breed Technical Problem Solving Methodology developed a team of MW experts). The client was very impressive with our efficiency and our dedication towards our workmanship and we helps us to build a positive image- which leading us to a higher probability of even closer partnership.



In December 2005, Artemide has contacted our IT supports in the morning and requested to have their domain and email hosting migrated to our server- within 24 hours. We knew for the fact this is going to be an arduous task- as there are many factors, such as time and other parties (service providers) are involved. However, we didn’t fail on our customers.

After our hosting team received this urgent order, we have promptly contacted the HKDNR and requested their urgent assistance with the migration. In the meantime, our administration team has prepared all the documentation that the HKDNR are required for the domain to be migrated. In the normal circumstances, this process could take up to 7-14 days to complete but, we made it within 24 hours! (Including the instant migration of their website and email to our stand-by hosting servers- With a zero downtime).

Through this, MW has once again proven itself as an efficient, professional and cost-effective IT Service Provider. She is also an organization which put a great deal of empathizing on team working.

In June 2006, due to the growth of Artemide’s lamping business, an improvement is required on their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software in order to keep the organization to stay ahead of the other competitors. Based on the past track records, the customer has decided to contract this project to Media World and has given us a full authorization to liaise with another SAP Provider (one of the top SAP developer in Asia Pacific region).

We have held a numerous of meetings with this SAP agency to ensure the products that we are about to deliver are efficient, cost-effective, and most importantly, stable and reliable. This project is still in-process at this stage. We anticipate having this project completed by late of September.
